The itinerary begins at La Steccaia, surrounded by the lush greenery typical of the Tuscan countryside. The first stretch allows you to get familiar with the area and gradually immerse yourself in the local Mediterranean scrub.

Through the Woods and Stop at the Geothermal Well

Following the trails that wind through the forest, unspoiled nature merges with the region's unique geology. Along the way, you will pass near a drilling rig. Here, we will make an educational stop with a site operator, who will explain how geothermal steam is intercepted deep underground, as well as how it is safely piped and transported to the production facilities via steam pipelines
